- Located at the Imperial Centre, the Arts Center consists of a visual arts building and an education
center. A permanent collection, rotating professional, historical and
children's exhibits and a gift shop make this a great place to visit.

- The Theatre, a 300 seat facility located at the Imperial Centre, is home to one of the state's finest
community theater groups. Local and traveling productions range from

- Four Sisters' Gallery at Wesleyan College

- The Four Sisters' Gallery is located in the Thomas J. Pearsall Building
and is open for viewing from 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, and
by appointment with the Curator. All art exhibitions are free to the
public, including opening receptions and gallery talks.

- The Dunn Center for the Performing Arts at Wesleyan College

- One of the region's finest treasures is North Carolina Wesleyan College,
a four-year, liberal arts college. The executive offices are located
in a restored late federal plantation house called "Bellemonte," circa
1826, which is also on the National Register of Historic Places. The
college hosts numerous lecture series and symposiums throughout the
academic year. The beautiful Dunn Center hosts some of the finest cultural
entertainment found in the area.

- Tar River Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus at Wesleyan College

- The Tar River Orchestra and Chorus, was founded in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, USA, in 1986. Since then, it has grown to include not only a professional orchestra and an adult chorus, but also a children's chorus, youth strings program, a symphonic band, and a swing band.

- Mims Gallery at Wesleyan College

- The MIMS Gallery in Wesleyan College's Dunn Center exhibits the work
of professional artists, both local and international. The MIMS Gallery
is open daily 9-5.

- Nash Arts Council

- Located in the heart of historic downtown Nashville on Washington
Street, you'll find one of the area's most unique cultural attractions
- the Nash County Arts Council. Previously a Baptist church,circa 1914,
the center is an excellent example of Romanesque Revival style and features
some of Nash County's finest stage performers, musicians and artists.
