spray fountains within a traditional playground structure. The play
area is opened year-round with spray elements operable, weather permitting.

- Tennis
- You don't have to look far to find the best hardcourt play in town at one of our many city parks. The area boasts over 40 courts, many of them lighted.
- Denton Street Swimming Pool
- Located on Denton Street at Fairview Street. Completed in 2003, the pool is handicapped accessible with a zero depth entry, and has spray features, four swimming lanes and two diving boards.

- The Sports Complex will provide facilities for recreational programs
such as baseball, softball, soccer and football and other field sports.
It will serve as a venue for local, state and national sporting events.
Once complete, The Rocky Mount Sports Complex will be one of the largest
